Increased Rating Claims

For increased rating claims, service treatment records are not as relevant. The relevant records are those records that concern treatment for the time-period since the last VA evaluation. Often, increased rating claims require an examination to determine the current level of impairment.

Typically, we do not offer services for increased rating claims (except for TDIU and psychiatric cases where we can do telemedicine) since, in most cases, our doctors do not see our veteran clients in person. While we will conduct telemedicine exams, it is not our usual practice and is considered on a case-by-case basis.

For instance, some increased rating claims succeed by showing that certain treatment modalities are documented in medical records. But in general, our services best suit individuals seeking initial service connection or TDIU who have an affirmed, documented current diagnosis.
